Minority AIDS Research Initiative (MARI) is an Ecological Study of Sexual Behavior and HIV/STI in African American MSM. MARI is a cross-sectional study that assesses specific psychosocial factors and perceived body image characteristics that are related with high-risk behaviors and explores geographic differences in these associations. MARI also aims to extend current understanding of these associations by examining the interactive associations of personality traits, psychosocial factors, body image characteristics and high-risk sexual behaviors with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) sexually transmitted disease (STD) infection. All participants of MARI Project can earn up to $35 for participation.
